Their appearance resembles the RAW Series with their surface being left unlathed. However, the Dune cymbals, also made from B20 bronze, have a different hammering pattern. To protect the cymbals from dust and humidity a special wax is applied to the surface.
The deep, randomly distributed hammer marks, combined with the raw surface, give the Dune cymbals a dry, earthy, slightly trashy sound that always remains controlled even when played hard.
These characteristics make them the perfect choice for acoustic music such as gospel and folk, but also suitable for funk, hip-hop or pop.
